In Orlando, garden centers are busiest on spring weekends, when new stock arrives and popular plants sell out; weekday mornings are calmer and staff have more time to answer questions. Ask which plants are hardy for your USDA zone in Florida, whether trees and shrubs carry a replacement guarantee (one year is common), and whether the nursery delivers and plants large items. Fall is the best planting season for many trees and perennials, and end-of-season sales are common. Many nurseries close or shorten hours in winter, so check the listing for current hours and Google rating before you go.
Hours are published for 5 days a week. Typical hours are 7 am–4 pm. It is closed on Saturday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Quality Plants Inc. at (407) 203-6711; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.
Customers rate it 4.3 out of 5 on Google across 25 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded wholesale nurseries in Orlando.
Orlando is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Traffic in Orlando peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. If you know plants, shrubs, and trees, you might like this place. If you don’t, don’t bother as there are no labels or signs telling you what you are looking at. Customer service is almost nonexistent. I really wanted to avoid Lowes and Home Depot.

Saw sign that said " All customers, contractors and visitors check in at the front. Walked in, man stated that they are a whole seller and they only sell to contractors. They are not open to the public, which is not on their sign nor website. I asked him for recommendations for contractors I can use, he directed me to Alfonso Nursery which they actually stated on their site they are not open to the public. After the owners response, I just want them to know there are a lot of wholesale companies that sell to the public. Just because you put " wholesale " does not mean you are not open to the public. Please fix and thank you from the public.

Charles has always been good to me. As to the guy with the “autograph” plants. That is not the name. They are clusia and more than one type. Not a typical plant for the zone he is selling in. I have bought out of zone plants from him no problem but if you expect him to have it on the fly you are mistaken. I have spent 1kkk’s with him for personal use and am ready to go again. He is fair, can get you anything, and is nice enough. If he doesn’t have it, he will get it.

If I could give it a zero star, I would! These rating must have been from family members or good friends who know the dude in the front. I drove up and asked if it was open to the public and he said no but take a look around. I ask because the sign clearly says to check-in at the front desk. Ask about some autographs plants which he said were a different name. I clearly know my plants! Lol tells me the price and asks me the qty then says they were for another customer. I guess my qty didn't meet his expectations. I felt from the beginning; it looked like he didn’t want to be bothered or assist me for whatever reason. However, another gentleman who was Cuban was behind me and gladly helped him. I guess I didn't have the landscaper look or Cuban! Your loss my qty was low at 1st to see what his deal was. You just lost an order of over 300 plants!
